Bladder Cancer

Bladder cancer affects the urinary bladder and is commonly seen in older adults. Smoking and
chemical exposure are major risk factors. The most common symptom is blood in urine, which
should never be ignored. Other symptoms include frequent urination, pain while urinating, and
pelvic discomfort. Diagnosis involves urine tests, cystoscopy, imaging, and biopsy. Treatment
options range from minimally invasive procedures to surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or
radiation therapy. Early diagnosis and regular follow-up help control the disease effectively and
reduce recurrence.
